Breaking News!!!

image

Well ladies and gentlemen we have a breaking news alert!! Brett Eldredge has the #1 album in country music and he has shaved!!!

Since we are in that point in our lives where the beard is a major fashion statement for men. If you’re not rocking the beard well let’s just say that it’s a lot like leggings and running shoes for us ladies!! Even Prince Harry is on the beard bandwagon!!

But Brett is changing how we think of men without beards. He might have just started a market for aftershave!!
He went from what I like to call “the start of baseball play off’s beard” to as Brett calls it a “sandpaper beard”.

So hope on over to Snapchat to see his clean shaved baby face!!
@brett_eldredge
And if you haven’t already bought his new album “Illinois”, then go do that also!!

Leg Envy- Carrie Underwood Addition

image

Carrie Underwood not only is one of the most talented vocalists in the entire music industry but he also has some of the best legs in country music!
I mean not everyone can rock a pair of short shorts and a pair of pumps, but Carrie can.

Glamour magazine caught up with the Carrie and her long time trainer Erin Opera to find out how the Queen of Country Music stays in such amazing shape!

Just an FYI after this workout you’ll definitely be sore!! The kind of sore that will make you call in sick to work, because you can’t sit in you office chair!!

Squat Into Lunge:
Squat down on your left leg, right toes just touching the floor for balance. Without standing up, move your right leg back into a lunge. Keep your left leg bent and return your right leg to starting position. Do 15 reps, then repeat on the other side.

Cherry Pickers:
Hold a 10- to 25-pound kettlebell or dumbbell with both hands. Stand with your legs wide and soften your knees. Bend at the hips, keeping your back flat, chest up, and shoulders back as you lower the weight straight down, then reach it back between your legs, controlling the motion. Push through your heels to lift back up to standing, still keeping your back flat, chest up, and shoulders back.

Skater Hops:
Stand on your right foot with your right knee bent, left leg lifted behind you. Lower your body into a squat, then jump to the left, landing on your left leg and bringing your right foot back behind you (keep it hovering off the ground). Pause in the position, then jump back onto your right foot, bringing your left foot bent behind you. Repeat this movement for one minute.

Lateral Lunge:
Stand on your left leg, holding a 5- to 15-pound kettlebell or dumbbell in your left hand, and lift your right knee straight up. Lunge directly to your right, keeping your right knee directly above your foot and extending straight down in front of you. For perfect form, extend your booty and keep your left leg straight the entire time. Firmly push off your right foot to return to starting position, then repeat 15 times. Complete 15 reps on each side.

Bosu Jumps:
Start with your right foot on the Bosu ball, left foot on the ground. Squat down, then spring off your right foot and land on the other side of the Bosu, now with your left foot on the ball. Squat down again, and repeat the jump in the opposite direction. Continue jumping back and forth for 30 seconds.

Pulsing Sumo Squats:
Face a railing, fence, counter, or barre (ideally at hip level) and hold on for support. Spread your legs and lift up as high on your toes as you can. Keeping your arms straight and chest up, lower into a sumo squat (essentially a wide-legged squat), staying on your toes. Keeping your hips at knee level and pulling back with your arms for support, lift up one inch, then lower down one inch, continuing these small pulses 40 times before standing

Chair Squat and Jump:
Place hand on rail. Lower into a squat, extending your hips back, keeping your knees over your toes, and your chest up. Jump onto the first stair, dropping directly back into a squat. Repeat the motion, jumping up onto the next stair and dropping into a squat when you land. When you reach the top, walk down to the bottom. Repeat five times

Last Days Of Summer

I know in some parts of the US fall and winter are in full swing; but here in Cali it’s still in the flipping 90’s and 100’s!! So here’s one last summer look!!!!

“I’m Comin’ Over World Tour”

image

Well we can all be happy because Chris Young is comin’ over, sorry ladies not like that; mind out of the gutter please!!

Chris is bringing the “I’m Comin’ Over World Tour” to the US.
Right now he’s rocking Europe; but he’ll be back to kick off the US portion of the tour in Nashville at the Ascend Amphitheater on September 30th. Tickets are still available!

Not only will Chris be awesome (we already know that lol) but I’m super excited to see his open acts!
For the first few shows Jerrod Niemann and one of my newest favorite country singers Cam (yes I’m a little biased because she’s from Cali).
And then to finish out the rest of the tour Eric Pasley and Clare Dunn will be joining Chris.

This has been a pretty big year for Chris with his new album coming out in November; he was named the British Country Music Award International Act of the Year, “Neon” was his second certified gold album and his last three singles were also awarded gold status and now he’s on the “I’m Comin’ Over World Tour”.

Keep up with Chris’ adventures on Instagram and Twitter!!!

image

There was a point in time when many county artists would take a break from touring in the Fall and winter. But those days are long (thank God).
It’s a lot for the artists, but it’s awesome for the fans.
I have to say that I am a huge fan of fall and winter! There’s something about it that makes me happy and then when you combine country music with all of that it makes me giddy lol!!! Plus my birthday is in November so maybe that’s it I who knows lol.

So when I heard that Dustin Lynch was going on a fall/winter tour I got excited!
This will be Dustin’s first headlining tour which kicks off on November 14th in Richmond, Virginia.

Newcomers Chris Lane and Tyler Rich will be getting the party started for Dustin to come on and do his thing!
