Have you ever thought to yourself “What the heck am I doing?” I can say it like on a daily basis! No joke. I’ll be completely honest I’m broke, I think I’m going with the whole “I’m a writer” bit because then it explains why I’m broke! I’ve literally tried to write a movie five different times. I’ve gotten about ten pages in and then my crazy mind goes to a whole new place. I’ve also tried to start writing a book about twenty different times and well since I’m not on ‘Live with Kelly and Ryan’ talking about it, you can put the pieces together on that one because there is no book. Seriously why can’t I stick to something?? I’m constantly thinking about writing, don’t get me wrong I love to write. It’s almost like my heart loves it but my mind is getting in the way! All I seem to be able to do is write on here and even then my mind wonders and I’m not consistent!
So how do I get my head and heart in the same place?!?!? How do I just go for it. I mean what if I’m going to write the next freaking blockbuster!
Well I guess that is what I am going to do. I am going to give myself this summer to get my crap together and become a writing phenom!! Yup you read it and I’m going to do it!!
Where’s my pen???
I don’t know if it’s my California upbringing or what, but I love the new pop/club country. It’s fun and you can dance to it! But sometimes I need a little slow down. Some good classic country music that laid the groundwork for all of the club country.
Classic country music is hard to find today. So I started looking and that’s when I came across the Greg Finger Band’s song “My Kentucky Queen”. This has all of the elements of that classic country sound. It tells a super cute story about falling for a country girl and then his whole world changes!
The vocals are great and the lyrics are even better!
I think my favorite thing about the entire song is the slight Blue Grass feel you can hear. I also listened to all of their music on Spotify which was great!! I can’t wait to see what they have next!!
Be sure to give them a follow, buy the new album and check out more of their music on Spotify!
It’s been three years since I started this blog!! I’m still trying to figure out where the time has gone!!
Lets go back to where it all began.
Chris Young had just released “I’m Comin’ Over” and I was searching the internet for some reviews or something just so I could get a feel for it. Well I found nothing, but some uninformed angry bloggers that probably have like thirty cats. It was all nagitive. And when I went searching for up and coming artists/bands, that was not even possible because apparently no one talks about newbies! So I started racking my mind after I did a ton of complaining. Then that little voice went off and well here I am. I then launched “Southern Princess Problems”. I taught myself how to work WordPress (not an easy task). I also let my inner reporter go nuts and I read about a million articles on how to run a successful blog! Then about a year later I changed the name to, “The Typzee Gypzee”, why well because it’s more my style. Plus my mom had came up with it like three years before for another business I wanted to do. It has been so much fun. I have gotten to listen to some really amazing music. I have had the privilege of interviewing the next big things that are going to be in Nashville.
Huge shout-out to all my followers and readers!! I also want to thank every single artist that has been apart of my interviews and dealt with my crazy!! I wish you all the best!!!
I also want to thank my amazing mama for teaching me everything about writing and for encouraging me to continue!!
And thank you to everyone in Country Music for making the best music there is!!
I am so guilty of pinning food pictures on Pinterest because they’re pretty.
So when I came across this Blueberry Oatmeal Smoothie I was in love!
Get the recipe here!!
Who doesn’t love some behind the scenes especially when it’s with the very talented and handsome Chase Rice?!?!?
Check out Lady Antebellum’s video for “You Look Good”~
I can definitely say that I’m a football girl! I grew up spending my fall Saturdays in front of the TV watching college football. Fall is my favorite time of the year for three reasons College Football, Thanksgiving and my birthday! But something happened this past fall that has me paying attention to that other sport that’s also played on a field, Baseball. You might be wondering why a girl who, while growing up wanted to be a princess and a sideline reporter, is now trying to figure out baseball. Well it’s very simple and it actually started this past August. I am going to blame Tim Tebow. I have always been a huge fan of Tim’s on and off the field. I have been a fan of his since watching him in the Army All Star game when he was still in highschool (after learning that he was also a homeschool kid) . I watched him play at Florida, I watched his rise and fall in the NFL, I even was into the T-Mobile commercial (still funny) and then I could be found complaining that we don’t have SEC Network, but that’s a whole other story. So last August when he told the world that he was going to play baseball I was once again hooked. The media went nuts, Twitter was losing it’s mind and there I was trying to figure out what the heck an RBI, A Foul ball, Extra Innings, a Bunt, a Base Hit were and what they all ment. The hardest part are the Stats!! I’m not going to lie I’m still confused, but after tons and tons of Google searching I found an awesome website that lays it all out!! Just hit the link below!
Good luck Tim!!!

It’s a clever and amazing song. Its basically music’s best kept secret in my book because I’m just now finding out about it. Murphy Elmore is the next big thing you can quote me on that 😉; Not only is the man a very talented singer but ladies he is one handsome devil let me tell you, just look at him and try to tell me different… LOL

New music will be coming our way from the very talented Brett Eldredge.
Brett’s self-tiled third studio album will be coming out on August 4th. You can preorder here.
In a resent interview with Taste Of County, Brett talked about the new Album:
“It’s kind of crazy to see an album cover with just your name on it,” he says. “I think that shows what I want to say with this album. Maybe it takes a little bit of guts to put out a self-titled album — but if it’s 100% honestly you, then that should come across through the music. That’s my name and I hope my fans love me for me. Hopefully they feel the connection of these songs and they help them through their everyday lives. Because that’s why I make this music.“

Saturday was the 143rd run of the Kentucky Derby. It was full of hats, bets and of course some pretty amazing suits!
This new crazy suit trend is by far my favorite in mens fashion!!!
So I spent some time searching for some of the best dressed guys. I found two of the best in my opinion; the first is PGA Pro Rickie Fowler and the second is NFL QB Aaron Rodgers. Plus Patriots QB Tom Brady was rocking a very nice hat!

But if I had to pick a winner Aaron definitely takes the prize with those Vineyard Vines Glasses and Tom Ford suit!! Mark Avery did a very nice job at styling Arron for all of the festivities! But who doesn’t look good in Paul Smith, John Varvatos and Tom Ford!!
