All of the music that I blog about I listen to all of the time! I hate when people give their opinions and later you find out that they don’t actually listen to the music! I mean to be totally honest if I’m not listening to country music I’m probably not listening to music!!😂
Check out these 5 Raising Stars~
One of my favorite things about live performances is when an artist does a cover. Yes they’re usually awesome but it always sounds like a cover. But every so often you think to yourself, “Wow that was amazing and they need to record that!” So who am I talking about, well Brett Eldredge when he covers “Come Rain Or Come Shine” by Ole Blue Eyes himself, Frank Sinatra! I truly believe that there is no other song that he’s ever sang better. I am really hoping that some day Brett will do entire album of Frank Sinatra covers!
There are a few things in my life that make me dance in the car, like a purse that I just got from Target for $7.98 and it was originally $25.99 (thanks Mom for the present). But the main thing that gets my dancing is a really good song and well “Blue Tacoma” by Russell Dickerson is one of them! It has it all the beach, love an awesome car literally everything! And if you don’t believe me check out the video: https://youtu.be/eHTiEn72SOA
It’s Wednesday and I am so dizzy I can barely move my eyes but that won’t stop me from listening to my favorite music app, Spotify!
I literally am in love with this app. I was all about Pandora but not anymore. All of her customizing is my favorite part.
I’ve put together some playlists that I hope y’all like! Just follow the link below and turn it up!
So it’s Monday and you probably hate your life but no Monday is a match for some awesome new music!

It’s Friday y’all and here’s my pick for one of the best videos and songs out right now!!
I love this video because it takes you all around Nashville. It’s black and white and just plain smooth! Jon Langston definitely killed this one and BTW his bro Andrew Langston shot the video, talk about some major #Skillz!!
I have two sides country and club jamz. Honestly if it’s remixed and super digital I’ll go there. You know what I’m talking about when it comes to club jamz. But when it comes to what I listen to on a daily basis it’s always country. I tried to branch out and I listened to the ‘Today’s Hits’ on Spotify. Well at the 50 second mark of the third song I turned it to Riley Green.
I started to think about it. I mean what is it about country that has grabbed my attention like it has. Is it the rawness, the truth or the simple fact that it’s just good music. Well, it’s all three and then some. When you listen to a country song you know the truth behind every single lyric. How many times have you actually ever been in a club and left with whoever was there and how would you still be able to stand up after all these shots?!?!? I haven’t ever done that but I have been to a bonfire or two, I was raised in church with some manners and I’ve spent more time driving around with the radio blasting then I can remember. And honestly pop music doesn’t do any of that. When you turn on some country it becomes more of a soundtrack rather then a dream. I guess you could say that if you live your life like a country song then you’re living a dream.
I grew up in California and yes I’ve done all of the California stuff like spending weeks at the beach, I’ve been to the snow, I’ve been to the Santa Cruz board walk, I’ve been to Disneyland, Huntington Beach, San Francisco and the list goes on and on. Those places were fun and all but the bonfires in my backyard listening to the radio were way better and free! At one point I wanted to live in NYC and then my family and I had to go to the Bay area and on the way back home we got stuck in traffic. As we sat there I looked around and my whole mind changed. No one looked happy and everyone were on their phones not paying attention to anything around them. I wanted to freak out. The only difference about growing up in California was that I lived in the central valley where all of the food is grown. So I got to do all of those typical California things but I also lived on a few orange groves, I was in 4-H, my dad has always worked in agriculture. I got a taste of both worlds. There is just something in a country song that calls to me. It just seems natural to live life like a country song rather than a Justin Bieber song.
So when you think about it, country music is more of a lifestyle ratheer then it is a business. I mean I don’t know many country artists that are ‘One Hit Wonders’.
So the next time someone asks you why you listen to so much country music just tell them it’s a way of life!
I know it’s Monday and we all wish it wasn’t! So you can so one of two things:
